Known correct door seals

First, car is 76 Cutlass S

Long story short; when i bought my car, window-to-body and door-to-body seals followed with car, they are unknown brand.
Window-felts i ordered this year from PartsPlaceInc, since those were missing, but they are not yet here.

Anyways, back to topic. It was PITA to remove old seal from body, where window glass seals. Installing new was fairly easy, but in the end awaits the disappointment. The glass wont seal against the new seal? What? It just did seal against the old really bad one, so glass is in correct position.
I investigated drivers side to losers side, and the profile on new seal is too slim, original is way thinner. Its slim enough on new one that window glass wont meet the seal at all. I managed to get it seal By removing the outer lip of the seal from the outer rail (where the seal lips are placed ) which runs on body, but its not supposed to be installed like this.

So please, tell me where i can buy known correct seals for my car?
Please tell me those window felts i ordered fit correctly....

You've just experienced the frustration that many have had of trying to get after-market roof rail w/strips that actually fit these cars correctly. You'll get people recommending seals from companies such as Metro Moulded and Steele Rubber for example...and, they may well have gotten a set that worked pretty well for them. Next guy orders them based on their recommendation and they don't fit worth a crap. It has everything to do with the extruding process...and, to a some degree, the density of the sponge material. From the number of complaints I hear/read about, it's the inconsistency that is the problem.

If you really want to be sure of proper fit, I'd recommend trying to locate some NOS ones. Although difficult to find, I've managed to find three sets in the past couple of years at prices that are roughly double what repros cost. On the other hand, the Parts Place shows NOS stock and will gladly sell you a set for something like $595. Olds Obsolete also shows a LH @ $295. Ridiculous...

GM part numbers you need are the following:

9878788 (supercedes 9629696) - RH
9878789 (supercedes 9629697) - LH

Update. After changing all 3 seals of door, i managed to get door-glass seal to body with adjusting window. Had to adjust really carefully to get both, outer windowfelt and door-glass to body seals to seal together.

But im still not happy about my door-glass to body seals, the profile is way off, but since i got them barely to seal, i think i just let it be since there would be chance to receive as bad ones.
I carefully inspected the one i installed today and found very little marking which sayed "Metro".
