Just got my hood hinges back

The Big Brown Truck just dropped off my hood hinges that Wilson Antique reconditioned... wow!

A pic is worth a thousand words.

Are they plated or painted, and did they have to drill out and install new bushings? What did it cost you? Do you have any contact info for Wilson Antique? A Google search brings up a bunch of Antique Malls

They replace rivets, blast, and can paint if you desire. I think their site lists prices.

Yes, rivets were drilled out and replaced with a slightly oversized rivet. Mine are finished in a self etching primer that looks so good I may leave them that way. The charge was $190 including shipping. He has other options for the finish. Turnaround time was less than a week.

I'm hard to impress with goods and services, but this guy was an absolute pleasure to deal with and from what I can tell, well worth the price.

Thumbs up

SMS in New Hampshire does hood hinges, and they re-phosphate them.

Great folks to deal with.
