it's not a Thornton hood

Always loved the ram air hood look. So I got one off parts place $925 free shipping.

With the help of some friends it went on pretty easy. But needs some work still. Here's some pics. I should be getting everything lined up and painted within a few weeks I'lll post more pictures soon

I can't believe they ship those things across the country in a cardboard box with 4 little pieces of foam in the corners

Haha it was delivered on a 18 wheeler with "do not cartwheel" written on the box haha
It made it though

I got one for my car about 5 years ago. They are good and they do require work and they will not line up exactly with the fenders. But, neither did the originals. I used the softer hood springs too. This way the fiberglass is not getting stress cracks from opening and closing the hood. Good hood for the price and they do look good on the car.

Mine seems to be tight between the fenders....did you have to widen the fender spacing ?
