Fellas, I have a question. I have searched the forum and found a few post about the difference between a 70, 71, or 72 core support and that was very helpfull. My question is does anyone know if i can purchase just this peice here.
As you can see from my pics that my front end is toast.

I removed the grill and stonsheild and found that the peice in question is all bent up.

 

Since the part that usually goes bad is the battery side, [rusts out] you might find someone to cut it off and sell it.

 

The center part that you need easily unbolts from the main core support. I needed one of those for my first '72 Supreme in 1991 since mine was also bent, and it was no problem finding one. A '71 or '72 part will work for your car and these should be plentiful in NorCal.
