Front lower window channel repair.

Have to do a job on the lower front window channel.
But I am not sure how it is supposed to look like in this area.Wondering if somebody can provide a simple cutting plane drawing showing how the different layers of sheetmetal goes.A picture of an original unmolested part would also help.
The car is a 68 442.

I have similar channels to R&R on my 1966 Holiday. The aftermarket replacement sheet metal parts will make it is. I also have to replace the entire lower rear window channel. I see that they make the entire lower panel from the window to the trunk....I saw Overhaulin' replace one on a 1966 Chevelle...(same part).

Good luck and post some pics of the progress please.

I will post pic's .Also have some rustholes in the upper channel.Had to remove the headliner
before welding.Headliner was brittle it was impossible to get it of in one piece.Pulled it of and got large quantities of loose rust in my head. Also remove the cardboard between the structure and the skin.Underside of the skin did not look nice.Unprotected steel and damp cardboard is not the best comp.It is cleaned up and primed by now.
The front window channel has som rust issues, but is better than the rear.Had to replace this all the way around exept in the upper corners, were the soldering is.Still trying to figure out how the lower channel is supposed to look like.
