All of the chrome trim around my front windshield is missing (it did not come with the car) and I was wondering which cars would have pieces which would fit, cuz If i can find some in the junkyard ill take em. The previous owner named a few but I cannot remember them.

 

Any 1965-68 GM B or C body hardtop body style (no center post) uses the same windshield so will use the same reveal moulding trim. The 2 and 4-door sedan windshield is different so the reveals may or may not be the same.

Chevrolet Impala/Caprice (will probably be anodized aluminum, your car should have stainless steel)

Pontiac Catalina/Bonneville/Grand Prix

Olds 88/98/Starfire

Buick LeSabre/Electra

If you go junkyard hunting, go buy yourself a windshield molding removal tool. Advance or other chain auto parts stores should have it, as should Sears or Harbor Freight. Makes life so much easier...


Edit- tried to add the Sears/HF info and it took me seven tries to get back into this post. I have said before, this site's behavior is becoming borderline unacceptable.
