83 Hurst front air dam.

83 Hurst front air dam.

General question,do all 83 front plastic sideskirts bow out,just below front corner of the bumper? If not anyone have a solution other than gluing.Or is this normal due to age.

If you mean where the bumper and side skirt meet, yes, it's a bit of a common problem for 83 and 84. The cheesy quality plastic they used didn't stand up to the test of time as far as warping, etc. Of course they didn't care back then about someone owning one nearly 30 years from then. The severity depends on many factors, but if you go to a car show with a bunch of 83 and 84 Hursts and look at all the originals, you'll see some have fared better than others.
