70 442 Grill Color

Question 70 442 Grill Color

Need to know how the 1970 442 grills came from the factory. Were they the grey/silver color as a rule or did they come in other variants?

The pictures below show the standard silver 442 grill and the same style with the vertical pieces painted black with the outside frame being silver. Looking to see if this was a model specific change or something that a PO did.

For 69 it's dull aluminum, pretty sure the same for 70. I used Krylon Dull Aluminum.

1970 was Silver from the factory, Krylon Dull aluminum is a good choice as noted above. The 2nd pic, someone painted it black, but it is not correct.
