'57 Bodywork

Hi all. Building a '57 - Super 88. I have found slight rust in both lower front quarter panels and both rt and lft sides, front of hood. I hear this is normal for '57s. Question is, after repair, how do i insulate them from having this problem again? Any advice is greatfully appreciated.

get out all rust and i mean all plus treat the light rust that might be left over if any and it should be as little as possible in a extreme way then treat with por 15 and seal the areas fully and correctly. I would also keep this car away afterwards from cold rain that can settle in areas, plus inside a garage when needed.
