1 pc trunk floor
Guys:
I am looking to order a 1 pc trunk floor assembly. I have located 2 models from Classic 2 current and Sherman Panels, both are located in the Detroit area and claim their panels are made there in house. Has anyone used these or had dealings w/ either company, looking for feedback on customer support as well.
Thanks RonFX

1 pc trunk floor
Guys:
No chatter on the 1 pc trunk assm from Sherman or classic 2 current? I am sure somebody out there has installed a 1 pc trunk floor recently in a 66/67 cutlass.
Thanks RonFX

I would call BS on that. Nearly every repro sheet metal vendor gets their parts from the same couple of "off shore" stamping plants. The cost to fabricate one's own dies are prohibitive, especially for US-made parts. Sorry, but that's just the economics of it.

The Parts Place also sells a 1 pc. floor pan with braces.

I would do the 3 piece set if your braces are still good. I have only dealt with 70-72 so i dont know if the 2 pices is particular to the 67 model. But i do know that having 3 seprate sections is easier that installing one big one. not only because of size but repops dont always line up. i had a floor pan that was stamped crooked and it took some work to make it work. I belive sherman does not have the black e coat. most off shore stampings all have that black e coat. I personaly like the ecoated panels for obvious reason.
