hello everyone,


I will be installing the roof rail weatherstripping this weekend on my 1968 442. my question is, what material do I install in between the roof rail and the body? when I removed the roof rail, there was a black goey substance in between, (maybe rubber ), any help would be appreciated....

I know CRLaurence handles it. comes in rolls of different dimensions

 

inline tube has it too -INL11128 ,comes in a 14 ft roll ,more than enough for both sides
but beware it's very sticky so you need to adhere it in the exact spot you want it otherwise you'll destroy it trying to take it back off .hope this helps
