roof skin underlay

Good morning all.
I am reskinning my 69 442 with a good used one
from a 69 S. I have blasted and prepped with
Ospho. My question is what do I use as the underlayment
on the underside? The black tarpaper like stuff scraped
off nicely, but I need to replace it with something.
I was hoping someone has done this in the past and
could send me in the right direction.
Thanks for the responses guys, Adam.

So Dynomat makes the application for the skin?
It would have to be very thin.

I used some leftover ice and water shield from when I roofed my buddy's house.
Peel and stick.

So J, sounds intriguing. I wonder how well it
would hold up to the 110* temps in Central TX?
Do you think the asphalt smell would come through?
That would really suck. Have you had this on your
car long? Thanks for the response by the way, Adam.
P.S. It's 98* down here today outside Austin!

That stuffs cheap! 225 sq ft. $.70 per sq ft, its very thin, but a roll of this can do the whole car twice. wonder how thick that compares to duramat or extreme brands
