Looking for a reputable, top-notch paint and body shop in San Jose area. Must be able to address clamshell tailgate mechanical issues. Any suggestions? Thanks.

 

Have you found a shop yet Customcruiserfan? I used a shop in Newark called Preferred Auto Body (510-372-4874). I think their shop rates are a little better than San Jose (maybe due to lower rent commercial space). You can check out my paint job in this thread:

PM me if you'd like to come check out the job they did on my car. It's not perfect, but then again, I didn't have the budget for one of their show car perfect restoration paint jobs! I am very pleased though.
