missing chrome for 65 starfire

Anyone know where to look for a rear bumper and chrome pieces under the tail lights? My bumper is rusted with holes and missing the pieces under the tail lights

You probably already know it's Starfire-only and those bumpers were prone to rust from the back side. Expect to pay $$ for a good replatable core if you can find one.

I figured as much I'm not too concerned about its just enough rust to annoy me. Just curious if anyone knows of a place to find parts in decent condition in the north/south dakota area

There is a 1965 Starfire located at CTC Auto Ranch in Denton, TX 940-482-3007. I have a 66 Starfirewhich had too much rust that was beyond repair. I had to purchase a Used one and have it straightened and rechromed. If I'm not mistaken , All 1965 Olds share the same front bumper like the 66's. Good Luck.

Here's a guy on craigslist in Inianapolis who may have the chrome pieces you need: http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/pts/4477210498.html

You can also try here: http://gmsports.com/
These guys have some 65 Starfire parts. I would call them to ask.

If your rear bumper is not real bad the holes can be welded up and the bumper made straight and rechromed. it may be easier than trying to find another on in good condition.

Yes like Joe said, And If Chip Foose can modify and section any type of bumper then why can't anyone else? Have it patched up.
