Making my own 442 style stripes

I wanted to give myself a low budget project over the weekend. I have my own cutting machine which I use for work so that helped tons with what I was trying to do. I started doing some searching on here and I found a cool thread that broke down the exactly measurements on 442 stripes. I went ahead and made a pattern in Illustrator and cut it out on some metallic gold vinyl and installed. For being a non-permanent, I think it turned out pretty good. I need to make some adjustments in the pattern and install it properly on both sides. Might go silver for the final job. Yeah, its not a 442, heck, its not even a 2 door but I like it. ;] Just wanted to share.

Thanks guys! Rob, if you get the exact measurements and an example of the style stripes I could make them and mail them to you. Shoot me a message.

Those look great, I recently ordered a set from the parts place and they looked wrong. The outer most strip was too narrow compared to yours.

Here is the W42 stripe info for a 1969, I would be interested in paying you for a set of these. This would be a great solution until I get a new paint job on my car.

501Paratrooper, thank site is great. I can definitely make something to those specs. Shoot me an email when you are ready. There are over 50 colors you can choose from.

Cool car and the stripe looks great. Leave one side gold then do the other side in silver to see what looks better. I think the gold looks killer.
