Front Bumper Alignment

I have 67 Cutlass and the front bumper appears to be pushed up in the middle, both sides fit in the recessed fenders perfectly. Is there a trick to getting the bumper aligned evenly? I don't think the bumper is bent but just in case is there a shop that checks bumpers for correctness? The chrome is in good shape and I don't want buy another bumper if possible. Thanks

Also keep in mind up to the late 70's if a car was towed for any reason it was a sling tow truck and it was common to push up a bumper like you describe. I have had a few I have had to pull down in the middle to make them right. I usually put them on my car trailer and use the winch on the front of it to do that.
