I need to replace the vinyl top on a 68 Cutlass Supreme holiday coupe. before I start trying to pry the roof emblems off, can someone tell me if these emblems have speed nuts attaching them or are they push in type. Do I need to gain access to the nuts behind the sail panel on the inside?

No need to. Your facial expression says it all. Haha.

 

Rumor has it that the speed nuts are virtually inaccessible from behind the interior sail panels because of a large steel plate behind them. I doubt this is 100% correct, but I suspect there is some truth to this.

Thoughts?
