Advice needed: first paint or interior?

My 3rd gen Xbody Oldsmobile Omega will return in the next few weeks from the body shop.

as my own shop isn’t the largest one I wonder how to proceed if I should let it paint immediately or fist finish wiring harnesses, interior...

I’m frightened to damage the paint with all the work still required.

how did you guys handle it? Any advice highly appreciate!

A proper paint job usually requires significant disassembly of the interior and removal of all the weatherstripping. I hate to do things twice. Of course, if your paint job is just a scuff-and-spray, then you're likely not planning on that much disassembly.

Body is disassembled at the moment. So painting now would be most logical

As Joe said, paint first. It sucks getting overspray on new interior.
