New to this forum area although I've been a member for a little while as I needed to find a few small parts for my own car.

My reason for posting now is I have a restoration shop and we're working on a 71 442 for a customer. It's a frame off project that will go to MCACN when finished and I need to verify some details for correctness as I go. The biggest concern now is the underside color, or colors. It's a Lansing built car. Should it have red oxide only underneath with body color overspray or should it have some semi gloss black over the red oxide, then body color overspray? Any help is greatly appreciated.
