I began the restoration of the A pillar stainless and noticed what I believe to be a window support or guide when the window is up is broken off on the drivers side. This being a convertible it's a bit different then what I am used to.

I can't find them for sale anywhere, should I fabricate one or just leave it the way it is? I'm not sure how important it is.
