Looking for a hood with a little more pizazz but stock appearing. What if anything have other people out there done? I really like the 68-72 hoods, the Hurst is real cool. Was even wondering if a glass hood could be made to fit a 68 Cutlass with a little glass work.

 

If by "glass hood" you mean a 1970-72 O.A.I. hood, sure it could be made to fit. Whether it would be aesthetically pleasing is a different question. People really go out of their way to force fit that hood on vehicles where it doesn't even come close to looking good. The scoops are designed to line up with the grilles on the 70-72 cars. It's questionable on a 69 and not even close on the single-grille 68s.

I actually installed an L88 scoop on a 68 that I owned back in the 1970s. The lines of that scoop work MUCH better with the pointed nose of the 68 hood.
