1965 F85 4 Door Sedan Trunk Lid

Does anyone know if the trunk lid on a 65 F85 4 door sedan is the same as my 65 Cutlass 2 door hardtop? I'm slowly pulling the parts car (sedan) apart and selling pieces, but am unsure of the lid. It looks the same to me, and is the same length, but I don't want to swap it to find out. It's in beautiful shape. Hoping it fits a hardtop or convertible, and I can keep trying to flog it, otherwise....boat anchor? Any thoughts?

Thanks Henry. Do they have any value, or are they a dime a dozen?

What about the windshields? Are they all the same for these mid-size Oldsmobiles regardless of model or body style?

With one exception the windshield the same for all 64-67 GM A bodies. The 66-67 2dr hdtp, 2dr post(except Chevelle) and convert use a different windshield.

Clean trunk should be worth 150-200 dollars.

Good info. What about the frame? The F85 4 door sedan has really nice quarters (not mint) and frame. I've been assuming the frame would work for a 2 door hardtop. I also want to sell the remains of the back section once I take the trunk floor section out that I need. Any thoughts on the frames being interchangeable 2 and 4 door? Does it have value? The last frame I sold was rust free 61 Impala and I only got $250 for it.

Thanks fellows. This tool is a wealth of information. I try to recycle almost every part of a car, but it's not always easy finding people who need the bits. Back doors for a sedan, for instance. They're in beautiful shape, but I'll be lucky to get anything for them. Don't know if the chrome trim would even sell from them, but who knows.

I don't know how to load the pictures into this type of communication. I just took two more pictures, one of each side. I'll load them on CL right now and you should be able to see them soon.

Not much better. Maybe you can grab the pics, put them on your computer and enlarge them. I never learned the art of shooting chrome.

Stan, I'll try to let you know when I get the dash pad out. I'm going really slowly, sort of focusing on outside front end things right now. I'm fixing up a 1980 Trans Am to get it sold. No easy task in this economy. If it goes I can put the F85 in the garage and dig into it.
