I know Eagle makes a kit, complete rotating assembly. Has anyone used this kit?

I'm not a big fan of the made in China parts.

I see Cutlassefi grinds the stock N crank, and uses the 7.1 eagle rods with Ford Pistons. How is the skirt length compared to the Pistons in a eagle kit?

Cutlassefi do you offer stroker rotating assembly's balanced and clearanced or only complete engines?

Sorry in advance for the hi-Jack.

Nothing to be confused about. No updates as I'm awaiting dyno time. Cutlassefi's dyno guy had his dyno broke with an NHRA engine on it!

Thanks! I'm totally blown away! I never thought I'd see 600+ hp and torque! Mark is doing more pulls tomorrow but this is what we have so far! Mark said it only has 31 degrees of timing in it with these figures!

I knew all along it would make more than 550, expected 575 or so. But I guess the heads are better than I thought they'd be.

Thank you! It's been a lot of fun talking with Mark and picking his brain! On one hand I'm glad I'll be getting my big crate soon but on the other hand it will suck knowing I don't have a build going! It's been a great experience!

Wow Very Nice! Mark I should PM u, you may recall I have a bunch of "goodies" for a 425. If we can get close to 550HP, with a higher revving shorter stroke 425 on 92 octane with the A/C on SWEET. It will replace the 67 400E that's in the 64 F-85.

Yep I do. But it's mostly in the heads and combination. Let me know, thanks.
And let me say. Robert didn't skimp and was great to work with, not to mention his patience. Thank you Robert!
Hopefully we'll finalize it tomorrow. Thanks again.

Let that thing breathe! Spin it up to 6000. Throw a little more timing at it too. Nice numbers.

Well Mark did a few more pulls today! He left everything the same except he pulled it to 5850 rpm. The result was 10 more horsepower! Total horsepower is 622 and torque is 617 lb ft! Timing is still at 31 degrees! I think that although we both think there is more in it we will stop there. The block has a halo but I'd definitely be more comfortable if it had a full girdle and an upgraded crank if we wanted to wring everything it has out of it!

Anytime Mark! I had a blast talking with you over combinations and the wild Ideas in my head! This build went way beyond expectations! The only things I probably should have done different was add a full girdle and send you my steel crank but hindsight is 20/20 and we both didn't expect anything like 622hp to happen! It's totally ok as you know I have the monster in my garage left to build!

Nice engine build. Made a boat load of power. Have you had it to the track yet? Any more pics of that intake ?

Really more of a Port O Sonic copy than a Torker.

Unfortunately I haven't even installed the engine yet. My car is sitting in my garage and wating for body and paint to be done. I was hoping to have the car done by spring but it's not looking to good at this point in time.

One thing I am doing is having a spare 950 Holley HP rebuilt as a backup and dynoed so I'll be posting more pics and videos in 2-3 weeks.

The trip to my house is as fast as she's gone so far!

Yeah I Know......I'm not happy it's not done yet but I'll get it in eventually! Anybody wanna guess how fast in the 1/4 it will be? Car will probably be around 3800 pounds with me in it. I'm running a TH-400 3600rpm stall and 3.89 gears. I'm hoping for low 11s or a high 10 maybe!

I'm definitely hoping for 10s! If it doesn't then I'll just have to get my NASCAR engine built sooner!

Looking forward to your progress on this beast.

I can't find my Moroso Slide rule, My guess with that power and 3800 lbs, I would say 10.6 at 126-127 mph and likely faster once the car is set up with the new motor. Once the car is out of paint & body jail you'll have lots of fun. Good Luck

My guess of low 11s or a high 10 is off then? I'd love a mid 10 but don't want to get my hopes up!
