Intake crack - negligible?

Intake crack - negligible?

It's where the factory put a depres$ion [<= edit to avoid stupid ad hyperlink] so that if a crack were to develop it would not be as problem.

I assert that it is of no consequence; anyone disagree... or agree?

It cannot even be seen from the top side.

It cannot even be seen from the top side.
Concur. Even without the crack, the relative stiffness of that little ear compared to the rest of the flange tells me that it's contribution to gasket sealing is negligible.

maybe you might have problems,I had to fix mine right about there and it did leak some. I say fix it.
