Headers on 98

Headers on 98

Hey guys, My original exhaust manifolds are leaking like mad (cracked), so I was looking for some replacement headers, I've found these on Summit but I wonder if they fit, cause I can only find them when I look for make/engine
and not when I Search for make/model.

It's a 455
Will they clear the wishbones cause they look al lot bigger then the original?

the original manifolds merge into 1 exhaust. The manifold on the left (View from the driver position) goes under the engine en merges with the manifold on the right side and continue as 1 exhaust from there. I guess it's best to create 2x 3'' stainless steel pipes from front to back aswell. Looks better too imo.

Perhaps you could tell us what year Ninety Eight you have?

I think they will fit since your car does not have the rear mounted steering box if you want the hassle of headers on a cruiser.

Yes, the A-body headers apparently fit the 71-76 full size cars also.

I had a 73 Delta 88 and Hooker A body 1 3/4 455 headers fit great, they also worked fine on a 350 if I used a 307 starter...

Oh yea the same headers fit like a glove on a 455 in an 84 Ninety Eight

thnx guys, It's a bit harder ordering parts from all across the world when you can't actually hold it or something (can't really return them for refund either :P)
