Performance / Dress Up Radiator Hose
Anyone know where to get either steel braided radiator hoses or the blue silicone hoses that are molded to fit Cutlass 455?
I am trying to stay away from Cool Flex because I can't afford it but I would love something other than the worn out black hoses.
Appreciate any help!

You make a good point...maybe I'll just get stock black hoses and some stainless clamps.

Or you could just save up for the cool flex hoses.
You could pick up a "Hose Sleeve Kit" at Pep Boys or Auto Zone. They sell them in the ricer section. They look pretty good IMHO, if you expand them right which is kinda hard to do, because the hosing starts to fall apart if you're not VERY careful

I've seen too many of the sleeve kits that look jacked up to go that route. I hate to have such a nice looking engine and then put $2 sleeves over the radiator hose. And the cool flex are nice but I'm not spending $150 for 3 feet of radiator hose. I guess I'll stick to the stock hoses.

Don't blame you for that one
$150 is a lot of money for a hose, I was looking at some universal flex hose on Summit a while ago. I never bought it
