I believe they use Sealed Power pistons.

In the past they have been very responsive but recently (maybe starting around June or so) it's been a different story and I don't know why. The place is owned and run by Greg Rollin who is an avid Oldsmobile enthusiast. The last thing I ordered from him was a fuel pump, about two years ago. I called one day and I had the pump in my hands the following day. And that has always been my experience, up to now, with SuperCarsUnlimited. Hopefully others have more updated information.

If memory serves, he had a medical issue. I don't recall if it was a stroke or a heart attack or something. I hope he pulls through, he is one of the good ones.

Several companies can make custom forged pistons but price jumps quite a bit. That’s the route i took building my ‘69 400. Another thing to keep in mind, most aftermarket rods won’t fit into the small bore size. So for rods, the decision is between rebuilding stock rods versus boring the block to 4.000. The big end on most aftermarket rods is just under 4.000 so they physically can only be inserted down into the bore during assembly if the bore is 4.000 or bigger
