1970 455 ??

Hoping someone can give me some insight on this 455 from a 1970 Delta 88. Been holding onto for 15-20 years. It is stuck but never exposed to direct water. I suspect it would free up to disassemble fairly easy.
. My question is, does it have value as a restoration engine?

Yes.
I would suggest 300 bucks up to 600. Not that I'm looking for one. Being stuck, brings other questions as to why is it stuck? The more complete this core would be, the higher you could ask. Complete...meaning are the carb, distributor, starter, and brackets are all there?

Why not pull the heads and use some penetrating oil and see if oil can free it up?

I wouldn't pay more than $250-$300 for a stuck motor of unknown internal condition that had been sitting for two decades. All you are buying is the block, crank, rods, and head castings. It will need new pistons, new valves, new springs, new cam and lifters, new oil pump, etc, etc. "E" heads are not rare. The buyer is taking a big risk that there are no internal cracks that would make the whole thing scrap.
