Windage tray yes or no?

The crank on my 455 is coming out to have it drilled for manual transmission. This will be the last time for any changes. Should I go with a windage tray or not? I currently have a Milodon 7 qt. pan.

How much power will you be making?

I'm hoping for 400 to 450 or so.

No, don't need one. You'll never feel the difference either in a build like that as well.

If you can fit one in without a bunch of effort you are always better to have it in there!

Helps control any aeration issues that MAY arise?

We use one in every 100% stock-appearing SBC that originally didn't have one when we step up to the 383" platform. I put a shot below here of a recent SBC.

Thanks, Gary in N.Y.

P.S. If you just stop and think for a minute, most performance SBC's, BBC's, Pontiac's, Mopar's, and many others had them?
