Water Pump Torque Specs Wanted

I read the sticky for torque specs and it only lists the following:

Water pump to front cover bolts............................13
Water outlet to manifold bolts.............................20

I m a novice mechanic; what are the torque specs for the water pump blots that do not bolt to the engine's front cover? Is every bolt 13 ft lbs?

Thank you in advance!

It is at the top of the diagram 25 Ft. Lbs. Be careful the threads going into the front strip easily.

Good luck!!!

Yet another example of why one needs to actually spend the money on a Chassis Service Manual and not rely on stuff for free on the interwebs...

Be careful on the 13 lbs bolts they are basically sheet metal screws that screw into the front sheet metal cover and are easy to strip out...., the 25 lbs actually screw into the block..

how do I know this..???mmmmmm

Y'all are clairvoyant. My 1st question would have been year & model. Evidently Toronado became a non sequitur - at least in 1971 (1971 CSM).

Well, first, those bottom four aren't water pump bolts, they're front cover bolts and you shouldn't be torquing them when replacing a water pump. The Toro water pump bolt torque is exactly the same as on every other 1964-90 Olds V8.

Second, the higher torque on those 3/8" bolts for the Toro applications is because the Toro front motor mount bracket bolts there (and is not shown in that CSM photo).
