Toro manifold options

Are there any performance intakes available that will clear the hood on a 66? Planning some mild upgrades to the ol 425

I don't think so. The Toro is a special intake, sunk down. Also most people that have a Toro were not into Hi performance, so no market.

Urban legend has it that the Toro intake flows a bit better than the flat 390390 intake. You will be able to bump the performance some while keeping the stock intake manifold.

I have heard that tooling a factory intake is your best option on an early Toro. Mine was a 69 so different ball game.
