pypes 3 inch exhaust axle clearance
It seems that the axle does not have enough clearance. If I hit a big bump the axle will slam the exhaust.
I realize I need new springs but will I be able to do a 2 inch drop spring work without having issues? I think I need to go with stock or 1 inch drop.
Thoughts?

I don't know how the Pypes tails are shaped over the axle, but there should be plenty of room,if they were done right.I have the Torque Tech kit with their 3" tails.I have never hit anything with them. The closest thing that in near contact,is the rear tires because I have big 325/50/15,and they are tucked under there.
Is it possible to hang your muffler/tail connection higher? All of my stuff is tucked up tight to the underside of the body.My header collectors are the lowest point in the whole exhaust system.

It sits lower than stock.I have also had 2" drops in there, for mocking purposes,to make sure I wouldn't have issues when the suspension is moving. My rear can go up into the car pretty good.I haven't made any contact while driving it,or at the track. It is possible that my tails have a wider, more gradual bend, over the axle, giving more room.A tighter bend won't allow that.I also have my tails swung in a position that the loop is not vertical, going over the axle, giving it less clearance. This was due to the wider tires. The closest object to the loop,is the upper control arms.Yes,pictures would be better, but I dion't have any of that area on my computer.
