Power steering pump and brackets

I have a 2 groove pulley system on my 455. I know a guy that has a two groove power steering pulley, pump and bracket assembly for sale. He says it came off and AC car...does it matter whether the car was AC or not? I have heard that it doesnt matter but want to be sure before I buy it.

Yes,the year and what car it came off of. Otherwise you may encounter alignment with the water pump

Sure it did, assembly manual shows that's how it was done.

Not really, the pulleys vary a little. It'll look funny with an unused groove on the PS pump, but no big deal. Or, you can remove the 2g ps pulley and put on a single groove pulley.
