It is cool but I think this is the unit J C WHitney used to sell in the 70's for around 50 bucks. I think his price is way out of line but then I could be wrong and maybe this is something special.

Yup, this is one of the aftermarket clones of the Olds O.A.I. system that came out after the original W-30s were released. $50 originally sounds about right. It is pretty cool that it's still in the original packaging, but the asking price is pretty optimistic unless the seller finds the one guy who collects vintage speed equipment and must have it for his collection.
