Olds Rocket Parts

Anyone been on this site/used their parts? Starting a 455 build and was shopping around, looks like they make good parts.

They make nothing, everything they sell is available from other vendors. If you have a problem they wont stand behind the parts. Check with Bernard Mondello Racing Enterprise for quality built Olds parts

X2. But I’ve brought a couple of pieces to market that anyone can buy anywhere. And I’m not done yet. Plus I offer just about anything you’ll need at fair prices.

Yes Mark, you are a great asset to the Olds community, sorry for not mentioning you. You deserve a shout out.

And here you go again bitching about people actually doing something for the Olds community. Again, since you never respond, what have you done for this community? What have you brought to market?

We all know the answer is nothing...just making it explicit for the newbies.

Support - local Olds vendors that actually work with you. Everything in our last two motors came from vendors on this site.
Back in the late 80's and early 90's were did buy from Joe Mondello and my brother went to his place before it was sold off to Lynn.

If it wasn't for this Olds site and a few Olds shop contacts on Facebook - I am 100% sure we would be all running LS swaps in our cars.
Won't get into the weeds here but support these guys here as without them our Trans Ams would have been LS swapped for sure.

Why is this a problem?

"Hey everyone, this guy offers parts NO ONE ELSE IN THE INDUSTRY OFFERS. Let's crap on him and the risk he took developing and paying for the R&D on these parts leaving one less vendor to our already dying brand"....

You need to fix your attitude.

Agree 100%.
Mark is a great resource for parts and technical information for everyone on this forum.
So what if he promotes his products and services, that is what successful business people do.

Gentlemen,
Thank you for the kind words. My intent is simple, pass along my own experiences and expertise. I’ve been in the shoes of many on here at some point in my life so I can appreciate sound advice the first time.
As far as bringing new pieces to market, it’s not Rocket science, no pun intended. Tell the manufacturer how they can sell more and you’ll get their attention. However it does help to have the support and feedback from the Olds community like Most 😉 of you have shown me.
Thanks.
P.S. the best is yet to come.
