Olds 400E/425 H beam Rods

At the PRI today and I learned that Molnar is now making the 7.00” rods that Scat has discontinued.
As you may or may not know, Molnar is making a drop in 6.00” Small block rod as well. Nice stuff.

Good to hear, the SBO are very high quality, mine look really great. A great match with the Mahle pistons.

Is this 7" rod an Olds Rod? Does it need any mods to work? Please explain the details

Yes, as described it’s replacing the rod Scat used to do for Rocket Racing. Olds rod journals along with the .980 Olds pin. I believe it’s lighter than the Scat rod was as well.
