Oil pressure

Running a 455 and found oil presure dropped to 20 pds at about 70 mph. At idle it was down to 5 to 10 pds. about 100 miles on the motor and it was up to over 50 to start and continued to drop to a little over 40 then about 37 then 33 and then to 20. I have had one oil change from breakin oil to 20w 50 Brad Penn. The engine runs fine. The oiling was worked on using resrictors. I have heard pro's and cons about using restrictors. I have a oil presure gauge which we bled and found some black oil and restricted flow ( slow flow ) coming out at he gauge. After bleeding we still had 20 pds at 60mph. I guess the first thing to check is the gauge. The next question is the pressure on top end with restrictors? I can run the gauge from the oil filter area. I also have a high flow oil pump and a 7 quart pan. The oil pressure gauge is coming off the front of the block or original. any sugeations on where to start would be appreciated. I believe the motor is fine or I ahve caught whatever the problem is in time. Just need to make sure.
