How many teeth on the flex-plat?

Hi there,
Getting closer to replacing my tired 394 for a newer 394 for my 1959 98 Holiday Sceni-Coupe.

Can anyone tell me if there are some markings somewhere on the flywheel that will tell me how many teeth it has. i.e
a code?
a number? I can look for.

or

Do I do it the old fashioned way and take the cover off and start counting. Done this once before and what fun!

Thanks
John.

I believe it should be 176 teeth for 394's - and 166? Teeth for 394's hooked up to a Slim Jim transmission

If you want part numbers, it's 8618266 ( 1957-1960 Hydra-matic) 1961 and up use a different part number, probably from the different transmission that came out ( Slim Jim)
