Headers
#3
I'll vote yes. I run headers when it makes sense (not on a fully-restored car, for example). I'm enough of a glutton for punishment that I'll put up with the frequent gasket changes, dragging on speed bumps, etc.

Is "tuned" headers the question?
Over regular headers?
Having a set of headers custom made is pricey...$800-$2000 worth
of pricey. Can't see the reason to spend that kinda bread unless
your approaching the 600hp mark.
A set of hedman, blackjack or hookers will be fine.
I'm running a small set of 1 3/4 Hedmans.

Well, I found on summitracing.com they had tuned and just regular headers. The tuned are supposed to help with scavenging and flow. I have a 455 for street/strip use and I'm not fully restoring it cause its already a franken-car. Right now it just has manifolds on it. And if I'm gonna pay, I wanna pay once and do it right. I just noticed the tuned are twice the cost of regular.
