flowtech sbo headers on bbo?

There is a good deal for g body flowtech headers on craigslist. After my research it seems like with most brands most cars and most motors the clearance won't be correct. The car is and 84 delta 88 coupe and the motor is a 76 455, has anyone used sbo headers on a similar application? Don't worry about disappointing me. It seems like hope is lost on this one

They may interfere with other parts of the car and they may not hang low enough. The deck height is different between a SBO and a BBO.

You need hedman 58150 . Perfect fit in an 80's delta.

Those flow tech headers are junk in my opinion.

My brother put a 455 in a 77 Cutlass. We had an old set of hookers for the A body and we tried them. They fit perfect. So he went to the speed shop and bought a set of alumacoat headers. We mangled the crap out of em and got then to work....turns out they were 350 headers. !!

Ya, the 350 headers, especially the driver's side, stick out more because the extra clearance from not having the higher deck height. If you use small block headers on the a big block, the driver's side at least, will hit the steering shaft.
