Ok... Here it it as of this morning... Cleaned and sprayed wheelhouses, I ran to the hardware tore and picked up all new stainless hardware. Looks nice against the black I think...I also sprayed some black rustoleum under the hood. The wiper motor stands out nice on the firewall. I have to cut it out for now though. After it's dry I am gonna go wipe the car down and clean the windows for the last car cruise of the year... Wife wants to go this time I think. But... I'm making progress.

What do you mean last cruise of the season? It is August! Heck around here I am waiting for it to get under 100 so I can finally go for a cruise! Well, I got to get this car back together first..............

 

For 199.00? nice pics but way too expensive. I think you could buy new refurbed for a lot less, or buy some parts that may need replacing.

Yeah, Rob, I missed a few things there. I need to go over my horn relay, and a few other smaller items, My engine is already done though,just a bit dusty and oily,reran my wiring harnesses under the fender,I had my core support blasted and powder coated along with the upper rad. holddown.I still have to get some new wiper blades and then adjust the motor to the linkage,then put the screen over the cowl but the things I did made a world of difference.Now with the wheelhouses in, my engine should stay a lot cleaner.
So... The results of last night... I hang out with a bunch of Mopar guys and we have a fleet of decent rides. 64 Belvedere, 65Polara, 67 Charger, 68 Charger, 70 Road Runner.68 Road Runner, 73 Challenger 74 Dart Sport (Think Duster) and a 69 455 Firebird. On the way in, there's going to be some goofing off... Which we did. I had the most compliments on my car when we were there. A few guys took pix of my car..and while we were eating, the guy with the Firebird commented that my car can really move out and he was very surprised... Then the owner of the Polara told me he loved how when we got on it at like 55, the front of my car rose like 5 inches and how cool my car is. I got comments and thumbs up all night.I really had fun! But... here in Minnesota, the car scene starts to dry up. Anoka during the summer willblock off a few block area for just pre 76 cars.I don't know why but I think they stop the weekend before labor day. There is a grand finale at the county fairgrounds in sept some time but I think the cruises die down quite a bit after august/september... I know... It sucks. But---Had a gas last night!The wife even came with! Nice when she tries to participate in my life...:-)

Nice event and pics - I like more private "shows" and hangouts like this. The shows we have here are too organized.
