Firebird engine swap

I also have a question on an engine swap. I have a 88 formula firebird and I am thinking about putting a 425 A block out of a 65 olds in it. Would a 425 fit in my firebird? I haven't bought it yet, this is my desiding factor. Thanks.

Welcome. You'll get a better answer if you start a new thread rather than resurrecting one that's over a decade old.

Your 88 Firebird is a third-gen, right? While Olds motors were installed in the second-gen F-body cars, they were not used in the third-gens. I know people have done this, but it does require fabrication. It is far from a bolt-in.
