Finally!

After many years of procrastination, and other major projects. I'm getting the BB back together. Now to clear all the hurdles I've forgotten about.
Im usingbthe ATI super damper which is 7" diameter. Is there a decent timing marker to purchase? I'll need to keep the stud for the PS bracket. I already found out Ill need to drill the pulley for the 3 bolts.( Ill save that rant for aftermarket parts mfg.) I'm committed to using the ATI damper due to all new Eagle rotating assy
and I can't recall how balancing was achieved

What’s wrong with the one attached to the engine in your picture?

The timing pointer on the engine is original and works with the 6.5" balancer. The ATI damper that Ill be using is a 7" . So the original pointer will interfere with the balancer

You do know you can buy a.different outer ring right? And they can give you same imbalance as you have with the 7.00” if needed.

Cutlassefi, no I did not know you can get different outerrings. I purchased all these components years ago and I'm finally getting around to assembly.
I'll give BTR a call on Monday and see what they have.
In the mean time I have to shave the water pump a little

RickW30 I gave Bill at BTR a call. Unfortunately He has none in stock and does not produce them any longer.
