Factory AC

Apparently in my "frankensteined" 73 cutlass i have an orginal Frigidaire AC unit that isn't attached to the engine where it is supposed to be. I am looking for a bracket to attach it with, i have searched online and am having trouble finding this. Can anyone relate? or point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Maybe a photo would help us.

Are you talking about the compressor?

Compressor brackets can be found easily, in junkyards and from members on line.
You want to be sure that the brackets you get are from an engine that is set up the same way that yours is.
If you are certain that yours is otherwise stock, then you'd like one from a '73-'75 Cutlass, 88, or 98 (I believe you're okay back at least to '71, and possibly all the way to '68. Others will know this off the tops of their heads).
If you are not certain that yours is stock, then it would be wise to get all the pulleys and brackets from another engine, to avoid frustrating mismatches.
