Which engine does she have?
I have a 71 Cutlass Supreme hardtop. I pulled these numbers from her, any help would be appreciated.
VIN: 342571M190938
Left bank exhaust manifold: GN 380001LH
Top behind waterpump: 395558
Left Cylinder head: 7
Right Cylinder head: 293
Its a four barrel orange/red engine. She sounds real nice

The block casting number shows this is a 350 block.
The No. 7 heads are correct for a 1971-built 350
The "right cylinder head" number is incomplete. Both heads have a large ID number on the left end of the head (the "7"). On the RH head this will be at the firewall end. Both heads have a six digit casting number over the two center exhaust ports. No. 7 heads should have the casting number 409147. The 293 appears to be a date code.
Orange/red is not the original color (would have been gold), so at a minimum this engine has had a "spray can rebuild".
