Degreeing a cam

With a stock cam sprocket and a stock crank sprocket how do you degree a cam since there is no way to adjust either? I was reading in my CSM about a cam being advanced or retarded. Thanks.

There are special bushings made for this. You have to drill the cam gear the size of the oversize bushing, align the offset hole in the bushing with the cam pin, and voila, a new advanced or retarded degree.

Most cam sales company, Speedway, Jegs, Probably best bet is Competition Cams or Lunati Cams. Might try some of the links on this site.
