Could you tell me if this carburetor corresponds to that of a 442 from 1971?
Could be original?

As the last number in the date code is 5, it's a service replacement carb from 1975

I believe 7041257 was used on the 1971 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 while 7041251 was your basic garden variety for all 1971 Oldsmobile 455 vehicles.

It was the same model carb but it isn't date coded correctly. The difference in value between an original date correct carb and a service replacement dated carb is significant
