I have a 68 olds 455 with C heads,rochester carb,stock cast iron intake,cast iron exhaust manifolds(may upgrade to shortie headers)engine in shop being bored .30 over,shallow dish pistons said to yield 10:1 compression ratio...considering a mondello cam,MW-31,555HCR lifters,SK247SP spring/lifter kit,TR-252 timing chain...I have 3:73 gears and a 4sp auto tranny for it...Plan to use as a weekender...Looking input on cam selection given the info. provided on my application...The Mondello tech.support has suggest the above parts...This engine will reside in a 87 cutlass 442...want to use the power brakes and a/c...Does any of you guys/gals have any suggestions based on your personal build/experiences for a streetable cam with nice/lopey idle that wll work with power brakes and a/c ?
