braided oil dipstick tube

I do not and will not mess with a stock dipstick .i want to know who has made a braided one work .one that you can bolt on the header bolts .i was told a 5008 ls1 will work if you cut down braided part .i have 3902 headers and want something to work and bolt on .anybody done this before

I called lokar and they said they couldn't help me.
I would also like to know what works.

I'm guessing difficuilty of removal, more so in the rust belt.

I ran a Lokar, but changed back to a stock dipstick. Do a search on ROP for details on how to modify the Lokar for an Olds engine.

Get the Lokar braided LS1 dipstick, then cut to length. It's what I use, bolts to the header flange just fine.
