BBO Holley Street Dominator vs other low-mid rise single plane intakes

Just curious if anyone else has run or is running the Holley street dominator intake. I just bought one for my project overkil 455 build. Anyone using one after a previous intake setup?

He reccomended the street dominator or a port a sonice because a torker's runners don't match up all that well with my heads.

The plan is to try both the Torker and HSD. I know what I can make with the Holley, not sure about the Torker.
However I've seen multiple posts regarding builds with the Torker, and most seem to be happy with it. But given the opportunity I'd like to try both, if not for my own curiosity. I've offered to buy back the HSD if it doesn't perform as expected.

I was just curious if anyone had possibly had an improvement with the HSD over the Torker. I definitely wasn't questioning you Mark! I'm kind of surprised that edelbrock didn't make a Torker 2 for an update.

What ever happens with which ever intake please report back with results even if a torker isn't used for comparison.

years ago I was running a HSD and went to a torker and ran faster.

I do have a port-o-sonic for sale.

I now have my own Dyno so I’d still like to do an intake shootout on a mildly modified 455. I have a Performer, Torker and Holley street dominator already.
However my big block mule isn’t even built yet and I’m pretty swamped already. BUT I’ll get to it, one of the reasons I bought the Dyno in the first place.
Thanks.

Mark, what are your thoughts on the Holley Street Dominator for the Olds BB version vs the Torquer? Since you actually own both and have at least done an eye ball comparison.

I talked to Bernard Mondello and he stated it was a better manifold than the Torker all day everyday.
